吃瓜福利社 recognises that the safe recruitment of its staff in the Trust is essential to safeguard the children in attendance. It is our duty to prevent unsuitable people from working with children – ensuring we practice safe recruitment in checking the suitability of staff and volunteers who work with children.
Safer practice in recruitment means thinking about and including issues relating to child protection and safeguarding, promoting the welfare of children at every stage of the process and for all people being recruited.听听

As such our ECTs development is our priority which is why we have developed a comprehensive and rigorous ECT programme.
吃瓜福利社 use STAR as Appropriate Body for the Early Career Framework and our ECT programme is delivered through National Institute of Teaching.听

ECTs at 吃瓜福利社 are assigned a mentor who provide day by day and week by week support through the cycle shown in the diagram below.听 Self-directed study is accessed through the evidence based 鈥楪reat Teacher Toolkit鈥� allowing ECTs to access current evidence whilst learning to implement it with support of their mentor and Professional tutor who oversees the ECT provision within the ECTs academy.
